» Feature Writer Georgene A. Bramlage - Bistro Board?

Mary,

I don't know what a "bistro board" is...can you enlighten me?

Also, I have a rectangular corkboard about 2' x 3-4', that is "old" but still very usable...my problem is that it has a silk-screened "Ziggy" on it. Is there a creative way, sort of contact paper, for me to cover up Ziggy and renew the whole thing?

Thanks,

G.

Oh Yeah. Depends if you want to still use it for a cork board. If so, sand down any raised areas and prime the whole thing. The cork will still work but it will look like new. Also, after priming you could spray paint it with chalkboard paint and repurpose it all together. AKA bistro board.

A bistro board is the double sided chalk board outside you see outside of cafes with specials written on them.

Thanks, Mary!

Do I just go into a place selling paint and ask for "primer?" Or should I already know what this is? happy
