Last week I challenged readers to send in their own ideas for scrap booking from items they have used that were not manufactured scrap booking tools.

Here are the first few ideas from readers like you.

Joan writes that she used the wrapping paper from Christmas as the scrap booking paper for her page. She wrapped all of her grand children's gift in different paper. Each paper was in that child's favorite characters from cartoons. When she scrap booked Christmas she used each child's paper for their Christmas pages.

Stacy was giving her daughter a baby shower. She saved a little piece of each ribbon and each gift wrap to use as the first page of the babies scrap book. She included bits of the little table favors and when the decorations where too large to include she took photos and included photos.

Maria and her husband sent in a funny story. When her daughter came to her and told her she was pregnant. Maria was very upset. She knew her daughter was very unstable and that she, Maria, would probably have to play the parent role for this child. When she went home and told her husband he was very angry. He ranted for some time and then all of a sudden said "Come on lets go". When she asked him where they were going he told he he felt like shooting something so they went and got their bear hunting permits. She put the cards the DNR mails to you as the first page of the babies scrap book. She also added that her daughter ended up a great mother.

Don't forget to send in your own scrap booking ideas.
