Christmas and the smell of cinnamon go hand in hand.

Cinnamon and applesauce ornaments are one of those traditions that emit thoughts of Christmas long ago. The smells remind us of grandma's house and the homespun qualities remind us what is real. Decorate a small table top tree with cinnamon and applesauce ornaments so that it not only looks great, but the first assault to the senses your guest have will be the warm, comforting aroma of cinnamon and apple.

I am in the process of gearing up for the marathon ornament making session. In doing so I found an item of interest. I purchased the cinnamon and applesauce at one of those huge quantity, can feed an army with one can of pork and beans, stores. There are great deals. When you buy so much, it can easily make a difference in where you buy. I got cinnamon for .33 per ounce. Not bad until you figured I needed six pounds putting it at well over $30.00 just for the cinnamon. I looked around and found it for .14 per ounce. for a total of 13.71. Comparison shop for everything. I found while the applesauce was a great price the cinnamon was no bargain at all.

Come back on the ninth and you can make ornaments with me.
