Ideas for Scrapbook Collages

Instead of the store-bought, mass produced, manufactured, retailed, formatted, processed, and cookie cutter pages, give your scrapbook individual flavour?

Are you tired of all of the scrapbooking ideas looking so much alike? Does it make you feel like there is only one way to make scrapbooks and anything else is wrong? Is there a shortage of creative and individuality? Here is a way to create a one-of-a-kind scrapbook that is truly custom to you and your family.

One of the ways to enhance your scrapbooking pages is through the use of collage. These can be serious or funny and for any topic you can imagine.

You can get your materials from anywhere, but as always, the internet opens up loads of opportunity to locate items difficult to find in just magazines or newspapers.Here are just some of the fun ways you can use the collage.

Photo of your child's school performance

  • Use pictures of faces for the audience
  • Use a picture of someone clapping and photo copy it repeatedly and use the same picture over and over.Photo of your grown child when they announce a pregnancy
  • Lots of baby faces but include baby feet, hands and bottoms.
  • Lots of pink and blue if you don't know the sex of the baby yet.Photo of the baby's first steps
