Do you frequent the craft stores looking for something new and exciting for your scrapbook? Does it seem like it is always the same old thing with nothing really new and

Does it feel like if something new finally comes out, it is grossly expensive and out of reach? Well, Imagination Project has come up with the greatest scrapbook invention I have seen in ages. It is exciting and fresh and reasonably priced.

So what is it?

It is Scrapbook Alive, a voice recorder for the scrapbook. I am so enthused about this. Imagine having in your scrapbook the babies voice saying “I Yuv Yu”. Imagine being able to leave your own voice with a short message. It has so many possibilities. Great grandma can leave a message for the baby. Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa can all leave those special sayings that they share.

Think for a minute about the photo you have of grandpa tickling the baby’s tummy with his whiskers while the baby is whole-heartedly laughing. The photo is great. How much better would it be if you could include a button to push that would include grandpa actually saying “whiskers, whiskers, whiskers”.

I just recently finished a wedding scrapbook. I would have loved to include two of these recorders. I would have recorded the bride and groom each saying “I do”. Years from now they could play it back and remember the younger, stronger voices that held such passion.

I know you are thinking about how long something like this can really last.

The Scrapbook Alive works on a battery that is included and changeable. The best part is that if the battery dies, you will not lose the recording.

Get one for each person at the christening or first birthday of the baby and have everyone leave a message for them to hear years later. What a special, special gift.

I mentioned earlier that it was reasonably priced. It actually has a suggested retail value of $7.00. For about the price of a sheet of stickers you can immortalize the voices so important to you.

You can find them on the Imagination Project website but they are not sold on the website. The site lists all of the retailers and their location so you can either find one by your home or find a retailer on the Internet to purchase yours today.

If you don’t have a retailer that sells them, you need to talk to your craft store. Convince them that this what be a great product for them to carry.

Thank you Imagination Project for giving us something truly new and totally reachable.
