Have you spent hours making that perfect card only to stick it in a white plain envelope?
Why not let the envelope match the card?
So many of us are card making these days. But how much thought have you given to the envelope? We use beautiful papers and embellishments for the card but make blah envelopes. How about using scrapbook paper for the envelope that matches the card and make it yourself? The first time I was going to make an envelope I thought it would look tacky and messy. In part I was right. Trying to do it on my own looked really bad. I saw a demonstration on television one day where the person not only made an envelope in moments, they made it look great by using a coordinating paper to the card. They had my attention. They proceeded to flip over a few templates and next thing I knew they had a card the exact size of the envelope. In watching further I found there were different pieces for different size cards and envelopes. The Kreate-A-Lope ® company even thought to color code them so you could not put the wrong envelope with the wrong card. Then I was concerned that I would need special tools or equipment that would mean another purchase and more expense. There were none. When I say none, I mean none. I didn't even need a pair of scissors. All I needed was envelope glue and they sell that too. That was is it, I had to have it. In talking with other customers at the craft store recently, a common thread ran through the comments. Even was disappointed that so many of the new items are cost prohibitive. Well here is one that is within everyone's budget. It is not only reasonable, it will pay for itself in the cost saving of not having to purchase cards or envelopes. This is definitely one of the must have items for every crafter. Visit the Kreate-A-Lope ® site here.
