Scholastic Books and Klutz have come up with the best "How to Crochet" book I have seen.

Many of the websites and books available are easy to follow if you know about crochet. To try to follow the directions as a crochet virgin just doesn't work. Klutz actually tested the book on "Know-Nothings". How brilliant. The directions are simple enough that a 10 year old can follow them.

The packaging is the first draw. It is not the old fashioned, out of date, tired looking crochet stuff. This is a book for today, for young and old alike.

It comes with a clearly illustrated book and instructions but here is the best part. It includes six projects in easy to understand instructions that you can do yourself. So as a new beginner, you are going to be able to go from nothing to having completed crafts in no time at all.

If that wasn't enough, they are actually giving you the crochet hook, the yarn needle, two kinds of yarn and stitch counters. You will need nothing else to get started. But they went the extra mile and gave you a zippered case to keep the hook, needle and counters nice and tidy.

If you ever wished you had learned to crochet, tell your boyfriend, husband, significant other, father, mother, or anyone who will listen, that you want Crochet for Valentines day
