You have finished shopping and don't want to go anywhere near the stores. You realize you need one more gift for mom or an old friend comes into town you didn't expect
to see. What do you do? This is a touching gift to mom, grandmother, a friend, or a sibling. It is for someone you treasure and have significant memories with or share family with. You know all of those scrapbooks you have made with such time and effort. Here is an opportunity to use them. You don't have time to make a new scrapbook and you certainly are'nt willing to part with yours. Here is what you do. Materials needed: Scanner (If you don't own a scanner, you can even do this at the drug store or phot place you scan your pictures in minutes) Photo paper or good quality paper Printer Mini scrapbook (8") Go through your scrapbooks and find the relevant pictures to the gift recipient. Now scan the pictures already embellished into your computer and print. Enlarge small pictures so they will cover more space. Scan any embellishments you think are relevant to the scrapbook even if they are not attached to a photo. Print. Assemble them into a acrapbook. Add a few 3-D embellishments on a few pages. Write a letter to the individual about what your relationship with them has meant to you. Make this a special page. Add a poem or song lyrics that you shared. You can even make a pocket on the adjacent page and include a burned copy of the song. Imagine photos of your mother holding you as a child followed by a photo of your mother holding her grandchildren or even great grand children.
