There is always that one special person that you don't want to give the run of the mill card to. Here is a really special way to honor them.

Not only is this a way to pay tribute to someone special in your life, you could begin a traditition in your family that could go on for years.

Create and treasure has put out a series of blank board books. These books are not only perfect for creating excitement for a child, they make a very unique method for you to create the kind of card that someone special will cherish and keep forever. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Even the number of pages vary. From a simple 12 x 12 display board to a tab top book, the designs include something for everyone. They even have books in the shape of a house, hearts and a purse. Imagine how your friend, sister or mother would get a kick out of recieving a special house card to honor the purchase of a brand new home. You can use these cards to pay tribute to those memorable moments that happened throughout the year. Did someone have a baby, start a new job or move to a new city? You can make their Christmas card all about the special highlights from the year.

It doesn't even have to be about an event that has already happened. Do you know someone who is going to get married or have a baby? You can give them a holiday card that celebrates this moment and their excitement.

Create and Treasure has even gone one step farther and produced a book entitled " Board Book Play: Easy Techniques From A to Z". In this book they give you some really creative and fun ideas for making cards or books that you will never find on the store shelf. You can personalize the books with photos and add personal embellishments to make them truly your own. While the board books from Create and Treasure truly are a treasure, "Board Book Play" brings it all together with such amazing designs and clear instructions that the end result will amaze you.

The icing on the cake is that the books and "Board Book Play" are very affordable to everyone's budget.

If you are not into creating a special card, don't forget you can make a personalized book for the child in your life. Include pictures of things of interest to the child and photographs of loved ones. You will be helping encourage a child to read and enjoy books for a lifetime. What a great gift.
