Here is the perfect gift for baby. It is a personalized book that will inspire baby to learn their world. You can use the same idea for the bride or the graduate.
It will make a special keepsake for years to come. Babies love to look at pictures of the people in their lives and as they grow and become more aware, pictures of themselves. This is a one-of-a-kind book for baby that is quick and easy to make. Materials Needed:
Using your home photos on the computer, create four pages of photos. Arrange the pages in the landscape direction. The sheets are going to fold in half so leave at least a half inch opening down the center of all of the pages. The front page is a half sheet size. The other half of the sheet will be the back page. It might be easier to take four sheets of paper and sandwich them together. Imagine the first two will be glued together and the last two will be glued together. Now fold the whole thing in half. On the cover write the number one. Turn the page twice. Now mark the number for page two and for page three. Turn two pages and mark the numbers for pages four and five. Now skip the next two pages and mark the following two as page six and seven. Next mark the back cover as page eight. When you open the sheets up, you will see the placement of your photos. If you are particular about the order you want the photos, this is very important to follow. When you have the photos all set on the computer feel free to add simple words or names of people. When you feel it is complete, go ahead and print them on paper first to check the layout. Now is the time to change anything. When you are happy with the results, print onto the Photo-to-Fabric transfer paper. Take the sheet containing the cover and the back page and lay it on a piece of batting with the photos facing upward. Lay on top of this sheet, photos down, the sheet that contains page two and seven. Make sure the tops of the pages are touching. Sew all the way around leaving about a two inch opening to turn. Repeat with the remaining two Photo-to-Fabric transfers. Trim the seams and corners. Turn both inside right. Hand stitch the opening closed. Press both sheets. Lay the cover sheet faced down. On top of it lay the other sheet with pages four and five face up. Stitch down the middle. You can sew the ribbon on top of the stitching for a cleaner look if you choose. The twenty inches should be enough ribbon for a two inch loop on top if you choose. You now have a simple eight page book any baby will cherish. You can use the same idea for making a wedding keepsake or graduation gift. Use it to mark any special moment in your loved one's life.
